Shalonda Washington is a relative of Heaven and native of Naples FL. She lives triumphantly as she flows in the presence of the Lord daily. She is wife to Jimmy Washington of 22 years and mother of 4 elegantly anointed children: Kiera Brown 27, Javion Morgan 21, Jaheem Washington 19, Kiandra Washington 16. She is Sugar to her two grandchildren Nehemiah 2 and Journie Brown 1.
She is a survivor and overcomer of teenage pregnancy, a motherless child due to heroin and crack addiction, and fatherless until she was 21; all of which prepared her in rigor, persistence and endurance to own her Incorporated Business: Reliable Permitting Business & Support
Services of 21 years: Her business employs 7 employees. Her zeal and passion for Lord propels her to do mission work in the field of Immokalee Florida where Husband, Jimmy and herself work as unto the Lord in the God ordained envisioned ministry: Washington Family Ministries, Inc.
This ministry caters to the out casted kids residing in the projects of Immokalee along with a God assigned middle income family. She and husband have been given the responsibility of 21 kids who attend Youth gatherings faithfully under the guidance of the Holy Spirit moving and teaching for them. Along with having a heart for children, the Lord has unyielding and unfolding his ministry of women and young adults by using her past childhood experiences to uplift, encourage and shift mind patterns of women struggling to experience the power of God in tough situations.
She enjoys ecstatic Worship and Praise. She’s gives God all the Honor and praise for every accomplishment, setback and upgrade. She’s more than a woman, she’s a gladiator of truth, a faith blazer, and warrior queen of prayer. She is a Daughter of the Highest King and will forever
seek to do his will at any cost necessary.

WHO WE ARE:
Washington Family ministries inc is a non profit organization that thrives off giving back our time talents and treasures to the Lord through biblical teaching, song, dance, conferences, events and community outreach while being planted in Immokalee FL.
We are a family derived ministry that imparts truth and wisdom into youth, teen and young adult people who reside in Collier and Lee County. Our main purpose is to impart the knowledge of Christ to all while encouraging, mentoring and coaching some through some of the hardest times of their lives.
God has given Washington Family Ministries a responsibility that is more than an opportunity, it's a lifestyle that we discipline ourselves in everyday by His strength and guidance.
WHAT WE DO:
WFM is composed of evangelists, ministers, mentors, worship leaders, teachers and preachers and volunteers who find it rewarding to use their gifts and talents to share their uniqueness in
Christ with others in the community.
With purpose, we create opportunities that will feed the people of God spiritually, mentally, emotionally, educationally and physically. Here are some channels in which we do this:
-Hosting women conferences, gatherings and empowerment sessions.
-Having a young KINGS gathering for all youth, teens and young adult men.
-Hosting men conferences, gatherings and empowerment sessions.
-Community food drives
-We use various social media platforms that create a safe place for people to watch and share and engage in a more intimate way.
-Youth conferences and summer getaways
-Yearly awards and certificate ceremonies to uplift and encourage our younger generation of their importance.
-Guest preach and teach and empower Youth, Men, Women and Young Adults.
- Host educational conferences that allow students to apply for scholarships and learn about college and universities.
- Put on annual holiday musical productions that include dance pantomime, acting, spoken word and more.
OUR HISTORY
Washington Family Ministry started in 2014 when the Lord instilled a passion in the heart of Jimmy Washington to lead a ministry. In submission Jimmy prayed and began to get clarity about leading such a new endeavor.
As Jimmy began to gain confidence and clarity he shared the news with his family. In agreeance the entire family began to pray as well. A couple weeks later Jimmy, his wife Shalonda, adult children, son in law and grandchild begin having services together in the Washington family home living room.
They ran their first meet as a regular church service the way they were led while listening to TD Jakes sermons on their living room television. As time passed, they began using different church facilities in Immokalee FL to have youth rehearsals and holiday productions.
Fast forward to 2018 WFM had begun to gain a reputation through the favor of God. They became highly recommended and well known by various churches in the Collier and Lee county areas. With this their numbers grew. They begin to meet regularly with the youth at the Immokalee community center, until one day God pressed Jimmy’s heart again to put down on a store front building space where they now still reside.
